Orchid Day with Chris Channon 16th July 2011 |

We are delighted that Chris Channon is coming to Chigwell Nursery to share his knowledge and passion for orchids with our customers. Chris is an RHS Gold medallist, and has been growing orchids for 25 years. He will give two talks, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.

Chris will be also be hosting an all-day MOT Orchid Clinic (not available during the Culture Talks and Repotting Demonstrations). You are invited to bring in your own Orchids for a one-to-one discussion with Chris.

Watercolour Workshop with Katherine Poluck BA(Hons) DipSBA Designer & Botanical Illustrator 23rd July 2011 |

We are pleased to welcome Katherine Poluck, a successful local artist, to Chigwell Nursery this Summer. Katherine has studied botanical art, and she will be hosting two workshops on methods and ideas for painting in watercolour, together with an exhibition of her work. There will be a workshop and demonstration in the morning, beginning at 10:00am, and another in the afternoon at 2:00pm.
Katherine’s workshops will be inspirational and relaxing for both complete novices and experienced artists alike. We will be using plants from the Nursery as subjects.
